The 2017 Riserva is a dark and dense purple color as it swirls in the glass, with aromas at once fruity and savory; blackberries, black cherries, plum, with hints of sage, bay leaf, lavender and pine forest. Flavors of plum, currant, blackberry, and cocoa concentrate on the middle and back of the tongue. The texture is silky and full with smooth tannins on the finish. A rustic pasta alla Puttanesca would be a fine pairing for our Riserva.
